Appointment Protocols

The receptionists make appointments based on the availability of the physicians.  In addition to our main office we have offices in Madison and Milford.  When you call to make an appointment, please let us know which location you prefer.  For your convenience our computer system links all scheduling communication between offices so you can make an appointment by calling any office.

The doctors routinely see patients from 8:30am-5:00pm Monday-Friday.  If you experience a problem of a critical nature please call 911.  When the office is closed for the weekends, please call the main number for any medical problem and the doctor on call will return your call.  The doctors rotate coverage with other physicians, therefore, your regular physician may not handle your emergency.  Please call with routine questions regarding appointments and medication refills during our regular weekday hours.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please give us as much advance notice as possible.  On ocassion our doctors may need to treat a patient emergency which requires rescheduling your appointment.  We will do whatever possible to accomodate your needs should this occur.

The receptionist will give you the first available appointment and take phone messages for the physicians or medical assistants.  They do not have privileges to give medical advice.

We will only be able to discuss patient issues with an established patient or family member or someone designated by a HIPPA release.

Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult or with a note for permission to be treated.
